Front Desk Agent – BC / AB Resort
Job Summary:
As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! At BC / AB Resort, our Guest Service Team wears most of the hats of a traditional hotel – from reservations specialist to activities director; we do it all.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Check in and Departure of hotel guests; Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls; Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them; Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures; Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests; Communicate very effectively with all other departments within the hotel; Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments; Manage reservations made by phone, email and through OTA’s; Represent the culture of BC / AB Resort and build repeat guests; Perform other related duties as required by the Guest Service Manager;

A passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail; Energetic, flexible, reliable, respectful, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment; Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional; Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team; Ability to work different shift hours, and stand for an entire shift; Good PC skills; knowledge of Webrez Pro is preferred, but not a must; Previous Front Desk and/or Customer Service experience is preferred; Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting

Certification requirements : No certification is required, only experience.
Compensation : Cad 17.00 / hour + Group health plan
Accommodation : For staff accommodation we have units on and off property, it all just depends on what’s available at the time of arrival. All units include TV, WIFI, laundry & cooking facilities and we charge $15 per day for that.
